Stephen O’Malley and Greg Anderson demonstrate their brilliance once again returning

with their self-titled tenth album.

Listening to SUNN O))) feels less like listening to music and more like being inside a physical environment made of this huge, winding sound. It’s all these textured low frequencies just wrapping around you. Kind of like a weighted blanket, but louder and way more immersive. My brain instantly latches onto what feels like layers, the super slow shifts, the way the sound almost feels like it’s breathing.

This album gives you so much time to settle into it, like your whole nervous system can sync up with the sound. I found that your brain just gets to exist in one big, continuous feeling—and that’s where blissful goosebumps come in.
